The ride is designed to encourage finding locally made pies from any of the following locations: Pie shops or bakeries, local, non-chain restaurants, cafes or diners. farmers markets or specialty grocery stores.

Pie from fast food locations or gas stations do not qualify, unless you can confirm that they are locally made. Confirm by taking additional photos of the label.

Chain grocery store for, example Walmart and Kroeger, often have a bakery department but they do not qualify for this ride. A chain is described as having more than six locations.

The ride must begin and end at a pie location.**
